Facebook is having a makeover. In an attempt to streamline its look, social network Facebook is redesigning the look of its core member pages. There will be an dramatic changes on your personal profiles page. Many had said that the old page is kind of "old fashion" .

The latest plan call for its profile pages to evolve from a single repository of content and applications into a tabbed interface. Face book users will be able to organize their profiles by various elements like photo, personal information and application. It seems that these changes is going to be a very attractive and useful way which benefits both the developers and members.

With more than 70 million users worldwide, Facebook is now the worlds most popular social networking site. But as it become larger, it lost its orderly streamlined look that differentiated it from competitors like MySpace.com.

So the redesign is an effort to regain its original look and feel. I guess you guys will get to experiences this new look of our friendly Facebook when developers and members had test the redesigned and launches it on June 2008.

What do you think by putting your own profile on your own blog? Implementing profiles on blogs seems very ideal way of introducing yourself to your fellow readers or visitors. Most bloggers thinks that putting up their profile is just waste of space or rather humiliating. These are the few cases that are happening in the bloggers world. Very few of them also knew that the "pros" or "veterans" are showing of their profile in the very own blog. They developed traffic from visitors to readers and finally friends.

Hello guys, as you all know that i am using Chitika Rpu in my post. It seems recently i have receive a notice from Chitika saying that its server its down. Its very rare to find Bloggers using this types. Anyway, in her header, she has Google Search in it. Yeah ! A very suitable place to place it . Why? Usually readers would like to go back up to the top to see any stuff they missed out and look for something that related to this blog post or any info they need. Once they are there, Google Search becomes widely visible to them and thus makes it easier for them (readers/visitors) to search something with related ads without leaving the page.

Below the header, there is Google Adsense link. Showing related ads in a link is a very smart way to use it there. Easy + highly visible + attractive ! What im trying to say is that, her Google Adsense Link is using a perfect color which is RED ! Yes, very few Bloggers know that Google and Pro Bloggers highly recommend Red as and Link color. Her Page background is white which makes Red very clear and ripe. So, if you guys is using other color which is not generating any income, i guess you best to switch it after reading this post. Anyway, aside from Google Adsense Links, you can find her affiliated program. Adbrite - Google Adsense - Text Link Ads its in a 125x125 icon.

In Virtual Entrepreneur post, you can also see that she is using Google Adsense ads in a 336X280 Large Rectangle. But take note that she is not using it in every post. Using Google Ads is not allowed more than 3 ads and 1 link in one page. See Google Adsense Terms and Conditions
Another way that make her ads visible in style is adbrite text link ads. Showing ads when you hover your mouse on certain highlighted keywords.

Ok lets leave Header and Post section on the side table. What's she is doing with her Side Bar? This is a very crucial part in most Web/Blog. Well in this section, there is RSS menu, Categories, Comments, Links, Affiliate programs, My Blog Log and others. But in the middle of this section, you also can see that she is using Adbrite skyscraper ads in an orange color. I personally don't know why she is using ORANGE but it seems outstanding and juicy. You might wanna try this color. (If you did, place a comment so that other readers know the advantage of this.Thx)
By the way, Google Adsense Ads (120x600 skyscraper) is also attractive in Red & orange. She place it just below the RSS subscribe menu.

Well, we all know that Adsense is strictly telling us not to place more than 3(three) ads in a page right ! But Our Daryl Lau seems that he have a magic to do more than that with the new Blogger Beta. Here is what he said :

1] Add a new element right above 'Blog Post'
2] Paste your Adsense 336 x 280 codes in and save.
3] Add new element in your sidebar
4] Position it at a suitable slot.
5] Past your Adsense 120 x 600 or 160 x 600 codes in and save.

It seems that by this method you are only showing 2 Adsense text ads and still have 1 more to place wherever you feel is effective. So, guys what do you think?

Anyway, since ive been there.. I will get his ads hunted ! Lets see how he manage his Google Adsense Ads in one of his site. Gotcha !! ;)

It is beautifully wrap around in a light blue box. As you scroll downward, you may find Chitika Shoplinc ads. A small store with built in search button.

Kontera Content Link : This blog is highly visible with its Content Link ads. Through out his web blog, you may find alot of highlighted blue keywords. When the moment reader hover them, it will transform into a small ads box.

Today again i caught another slimy fish on the net. This time its another John Chow parasite. The last one (John Cow) haven't had the last of me yet. Wanted to talk more about him but unfortunately i happen to crash into a upcoming fresh little parasite ~ Not John Chow dot com



It seems this guy (Not John Chow) is trying his very hard to drive in traffic to his site by becoming the top commentator for www.johnchow.com.
His strategy of becoming top in Mr John Chow comment box is really paying off. Leaving comment after comment as he said is only an experiment for traffic source. He is boosting too about his way of comments, said that more "meat" than the rest. Geez!

Well, Mr not John chow or what ever ure unknown name is , this site of yours is actually cool tho' but its only the name that is fishy around there. You know what i mean right. Free traffic from search engines!

Example: a person is looking for an red apple on Google search. He types in Red Apple. a few sec later Google generate some results all about apples. There are green apple,blue apple, brown apple and red apple. But unfortunately, that guy wrongly click on the black apple and thus he is directed to black apple site . So on the other side, The black apple colony was saying " Hahaha Yum Yum Free Traffic"

You will be able to know the visitors’ origin, length of stay, bounce rate, browsers used and other details such as the size of screen resolution and referral sites. It even let you track your conversion rate if you are using pay per click service to drive traffic. All you need to do is to copy and paste some codes onto your blog pages.

So you have join few companies which offer referral system. Thinking of placing them at the header? or the Footer? Please avoid that ! Try to put those icons in a corner either upper right or upper left in your blog. Size does matter. The best size to use is 125X125 square but it really depends on what template are you using.

3 columns templates are always the best for monetizing your blogs with google adsense , chitika or other companies. Always fine tune your blog to make it look professional !

What the hell happen to these two people anyway. John Chow dot com and John Cow dot com . Almost the same name. Almost the same domain name. Very same Topic. But which is the real ?

After making a drive thru to their sites, found out that John Chow dot com is the real person. What about this Cow man? Milking the internet since 2007 and making mooney? Gosh ! Are you getting free traffics and readers to your site by confusing them? Ive been to Google Search. Type "John Chow" but instead going to John Chow dot com, i ended up stranded in a place full of fat cows.

It clearly seems that John Cow dot com is getting traffic from John Chow dot com. What an easy step you took Mr.Cow ! Poor Mr John Chow for loosing few of his traffic. Maybe because of that his making a video blog about freaking SHIT subject !

You have ads in your blog. Patch few in the header , left and right bar , footer and even between post ! Yeah !! I'm 100% getting clicks ! WRONG !!

The best placement for ads is at the header of your blog. Keep your blog as neat as possible. But this is not the only reason why you shouldn't place too many eyesore ads in your blog. Ok, ill make it simple. Advertiser will pay you more for their ads since that is the most "hot" place in your blog. If there is only one place for them to show their ads to your blog readers/visitors , of cause they will fight for that spot. So keep only one place of ads area at the header. See what Liew Cf did at his header. Simple !

Got a Blog ? i guess you already running one. But, i know u're not happy with its income. Yes, this kinda stuff really make us feel impatience.

You got a blog, and u throw few ads in it, than was posting several topics .. waited till night falls, than check at ads-network company that u sign up to see you earning of the day. You feel retarded !! Unhappy !! Well, this kind of case is usually because your blog doesn't receive much traffic. without traffic equals to no earning. Imagine driving a car without petrol ! Get the picture here? So usually for a new blog, i mean freshly created, try and make a 10~15 post for the start. Keep in mind that i'm not saying to post 15 stuff in your blog in a day ! Do it slow and steady. Example, try and make 1 or 2 post per day and try to keep it that way everyday. This is call Steady Posting. Remember that u're post is more better if you concentrate on a specific subject. If you are talking about motorbikes than make sure you not talking about something else.

As a new blogger, try to concentrate on your traffic. Put it on your most priority list ! Generate more traffic by subscribing to few forums or groups. Try and make comments on other blogger post. Get your self acknowledge by other people/blogger.

As you can see, i'm gonna be an ads explorer for the sake of newbies which intend to monetize / earn cash from their respective own blogs. With these internet evolution, many has succeed in making their blogging hobbies as an main source of income. Wonder how? Yes, this is why i came up with this blog specially for those who seek answer and guide on How do we make money online with a domain blog.
